WeCare HomeCare is a service which assists clients to remain in their
homes and retain their independence in their familiar environment for as long as
possible. HHNA endeavours to provide these clients with a broad range of services to
enhance quality of life and maximise independence while being mindful that client's needs
are different and change over time. Some of these services include: personal care ie
bathing and dressing, preparation of meals, light housework, laundry, monitoring of
medication, social activities, shopping and companionship. WeCare HomeCare extends to
providing relief to families and carers by offering Respite Care, which provides care
for their loved ones whilst allowing carers to have a break from their day to day
caring responsibilities.
We have also developed a resident support service in response to requests we have received
from relatives of clients in a nursing home. Some examples include:
Grandma wants to attend her grand-daughters wedding however we require a Home Carer to collect her
from the facility and take her to the church then support her care needs during the service. Grandma
has mild dementia, incontinence and mobility difficulties.
"Dad loves to play chess, and I don’t have time to stay at the facility due to managing my own
business. We would like to provide a competent chess playing carer to him for three (3) hours
per week on a regular basis."
Our visits can be from three (3) or up to ten (10) hours at a time and on a casual, regular or
long term basis, we also provide Emergency Respite Care. Professional HHNA nurses will ensure
your peace of mind knowing your loved ones are in our caring hands.
