Some of the services we provide include personal care (bathing and dressing), preparation of meals, light housework, laundry, monitoring of medication, social activities, shopping, attending allied health services and companionship. Heather Hill Home Care also extends to providing relief to families and carers by offering respite care, which provides care for their loved ones whilst allowing carers to have a much needed break from their day to day caring responsibilities.

Residential Support Services

Additionally, in response to numerous requests from relatives, we have also developed a resident support service for clients in nursing homes. Some recent examples include:

"Grandma wants to attend her grand-daughters wedding however we require a Home Carer to collect her from the facility and take her to the church then support her care needs during the service. Grandma has mild dementia, incontinence and mobility difficulties."

"Dad loves to play chess, and I donít have time to stay at the facility due to managing my own business. We would like to provide a competent chess playing carer to him for three (3) hours per week on a regular basis."

Our visits can be from three (3) or up to ten (10) hours at a time and on a casual, regular or long term basis. For more information on Heather Hill Home Care please click here or call 1300 227 949 to speak to our Home Care Coordinator.
